Security
The Security tab allows users to manage account protection settings such as changing passwords and enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Change Password
Keeping your password secure helps protect your account from unauthorized access. Avoid using the same password across different services.
Fields
- Old Password: Enter your current password to authorize the change.
- New Password: Choose a strong and unique password.
- Confirm New Password: Re-enter your new password to ensure accuracy.
Note: All fields are required. Passwords must meet your organization’s security standards (if defined).
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
MFA adds an additional layer of security to your account by requiring a second step of verification.
How It Works
- MFA is optional and can be toggled on or off using the switch provided.
- When enabled, users are required to:
- Enter their registered email and password.
- Enter a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to their registered email address.
- Successful OTP verification is required to complete the login process.
Benefits
- Enhances security against unauthorized access.
- Protects your account even if your password is compromised.
Tip: We recommend enabling MFA to keep your account more secure, especially for users with elevated roles such as admins or support agents.
