Conversations
The Conversations section displays a list of completed chat interactions between users and the AI chatbot.
Each conversation captures the questions asked by users and the responses provided by the chatbot.
You can view the full chat history of any conversation by clicking the “View” button. This helps you review how the chatbot responded and what queries were handled.
Conversations Table
The main table displays all conversations with the following columns:
- Date: Timestamp of when the conversation occurred
- Name: Title or first message of the conversation (e.g., “Hi”, “hello”, “live chat”)
- Category: Assigned category (if available, otherwise “N/A”)
- Actions: Button to View the full conversation
Filters & Features
To help you manage and locate specific chats more efficiently, several filters and actions are available:
Flag Filter
Used to identify sensitive or inappropriate content within conversations.
Options include:
- Inappropriate – Content flagged as offensive or inappropriate
- PPI (Personally Identifiable Information) – Conversations containing personal data like name, phone number, email, etc.
Resolution Filter
Indicates the current status of the conversation:
- Resolved – The conversation was addressed properly
- Unresolved – The user’s query may not have been fully answered or requires follow-up
Category Filter
Shows the different categories assigned to conversations.
These categories are created by the Super Admin, and each conversation is tagged accordingly based on its content.
URL Filter
Displays the URL from which the conversation was initiated.
This is useful when the chatbot is deployed across multiple domains or pages, helping you track which URL a specific chat occurred on.
Location Filter
Indicates the geographical location of the user at the time of the conversation.
Helps understand where your users are chatting from.
Language Filter
Shows the language used by the user during the conversation.
For example, English, Hindi, etc.
Date Range Selector
Allows filtering conversations by a specific date or time range.
Eg: View only chats from May 27, 2025 to June 26, 2025.
Download Chats
Exports the currently filtered list of conversations to an Excel file.
This feature is useful for analysis, auditing, or maintaining chat logs.
Search & Highlight Feature
The search bar allows you to search for specific terms inside all conversations.
When you search and click “View” on a result:
- The chat detail modal opens
- All matched terms are automatically highlighted
Example:
If you search for "refund"
, all instances of refund inside the selected chat will be visually highlighted so you can quickly locate the relevant sections.
Pagination
If there are many conversations, pagination helps you navigate through them easily.
- Shows total number of pages (e.g., “Page 1 of 7”)
- Rows per page: Lets you choose how many conversations to display at once (e.g., 10)
- Includes navigation controls:
- First Page
- Previous Page
- Next Page
- Last Page
This makes it easy to browse large volumes of chat data without overwhelming the interface.
